  1. I agree with this list just from personal experience. I think maturity comes from being exposed to different lifestyles and experiences that helps you to be more open minded. I would add that maturity allows you to recognize differences that may cause conflict and you learn to navigate around those differences. And if that’s not possible, maturity allows you to disconnect respectfully from others without bashing them or wishing ill-intentions upon them. You know you are maturing when you can allow people to exercise their free will and it doesn’t bother you personally or emotionally because you no longer desire to control someone else’s life.

  2. Yes! So much of maturing is about having patience with yourself first. The patience to forgive yourself. The patience to care for yourself. It’s not always the most fun process.
