Halloween Weekend 2017 in Virginia!

Every year my husband and I usually spend Halloween with my father n law in Virginia Beach,VA!

We ended up going to a bar called Rainbow Cactus Company! The music was great! The drinks were a lot cheaper than here in NYC so that was refreshing! Lol

Here are some pictures from the weekend!

This weekend my husband and I did some pumpkin carving with our nephews! We also had them bake cookies! Here are a few pictures!

We all had a good time! And those chocolate chip cookies were pretty good too! 😋 I’m glad we were able to spend time with our nephews! They always put a smile on my face! 😁

Have you gotten a chance to do pumpkin carving yet?

Apple Picking for Fall 2017!

I have to say that I had a great birthday weekend! Check out my previous post of all the festivities!

Saturday, my mother n law hosted a little dinner for me and had over some of our family members. She made my favorite: Chicken Parmesan with pasta, garden salad, and garlic bread! She makes the best chicken parm by the way! Yum! Unfortunately I didn’t get to take any pics of the delicious dinner 😩

My ice cream cake! 😁

Sunday morning, we went Apple picking upstate in Marlboro NY. The farm had an assortment of produce from apples, grapes, eggplant, tomatoes, pumpkins, and more!

There weren’t that many pumpkins left!
Tomatoes not ready yet!
Apple tree!
Apple cider donuts were delicious! We bought a dozen (as you can see, a few were eaten already haha!)
Here’s what we came home with: tomatoes, apples, and pumpkins!

It was such a nice day: no clouds, abundant sunshine, good food, and fun times with family!

If you are in the area, make sure you check out this orchard!

Did you get a chance to go Apple Picking?
