I’m One Day Behind!

Hello December! Yes yes I know I’m a little tardy to the party but better late than never haha!

November has been busy for me. I moved to Virginia Beach a few months ago so I’ve been settling into my new place and the area and learning where all the hot spots are!

Also, my parents and little sister came to visit for Thanksgiving so that was nice to see them and we had a great time! Everytime we get together, we always play Heads Up!

Have you played that game before?! It’s like charades but you have to give the guesser clues on what the word is that they have to guess. Plus there are so many different categories that you can choose from! It’s so much fun!

I’ve also gotten into crocheting recently! So far I made 2 winter hats, a headband and infinity scarf set, and now I’m working on making a nice cozy blanket just in time for winter season! If you want to see all the things that I’ve crocheted, let me know and I’ll share them in a new post! =D

Hope you all enjoyed your November! =)

Simple DIY Hot Cocoa Recipe!

Here is a simple and easy hot cocoa recipe to help warm you up this season!

Ingredients:

-2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (you can find this in the baking section of your local grocery store)

-1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)

-pinch of salt

-1 cup milk, almond milk or any combination of milk, half-and-half, or cream

-1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Whisk together the cocoa, sugar, salt, and about 2 tablespoons milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until cocoa and sugar are dissolved.

Whisk in the rest of the milk and heat it over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until it is hot. Stir in the vanilla and serve.

*This recipe multiplies easily. When you get up to a quart of milk, just use 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Enjoy! 😋

Halloween Weekend 2017 in Virginia!

Every year my husband and I usually spend Halloween with my father n law in Virginia Beach,VA!

We ended up going to a bar called Rainbow Cactus Company! The music was great! The drinks were a lot cheaper than here in NYC so that was refreshing! Lol
