“You are only as old as you feel”

✨I️ love this quote! Just because you’re a certain age doesn’t mean you have portray yourself that way.

My great grandmother was in her late 80s when she passed but she was one of the most vibrant, energetic people that I knew! She was a dancer and could drop down into a split on the spot haha! I️ know people in their 50s who can’t even touch their toes!

My motto is if you want to age well, then it’s best to take good care of yourself. “I’m getting old or I’m too old” is no excuse. If you take care of your body, it will take care of you!✨

Throwback Thursday!

Here is a picture of me back in 2014 when I used to workout like all the time! I used to workout like 4 times a week. Sometimes I would do an at-home workout and I’d also go to Planet Fitness! I️ was so dedicated back then lol.

My routine was to do the elliptical for about 30 minutes. Do a few of the arm machines and leg machines. To finish up, I found routines on Pinterest and would do an ab workout. Then I would stretch and be done!

I loved how it made me feel! I felt energized, strong, and most of all in shape! Lol. I haven’t worked out like that since then! But I do want to start working out again. Event though I eat pretty healthy, I still need to get my body moving!

I’d rather workout at home because of the convenience so I have to check Pinterest for some at home workout plans!

Little By Little

Enlightenment must come little by little,

✨As life goes on, my eyes are being opened little by little to things that I haven’t noticed before.

I️ believe that I am moving into a new season in my life because of my personal growth and because of situations that have occurred in my life with the people who are in my life.

Sometimes these situations of enlightenment are a little troubling. But I know that I needed to be exposed to these things or I wouldn’t have the wisdom and discernment that I possess now. ✨

What Healing Means

✨We are all in the process of healing from things that have caused damage mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically.

When we no longer let that damage consume our minds and lives, we have recognized the damage, accepted that it has happened, and have learned and moved on from it✨
