2. Limit Alcohol Intake

The more alcohol you ingest, the more your body will become dehydrated. When you consume alcohol, urination occurs more frequently. This causes the body to lose more fluid which in turn causes dehydration. If you decide to drink alcohol, make sure to drink water in between your alcoholic beverages.

3. Add Flavor!

To make your water more enjoyable, squeeze lemon and/or lime juice into your water. It gives it a much more pleasant taste! Citrus fruits not only make your water taste better, it also a good source of vitamin C, improves skin quality, freshens breathe, and aids in digestion!

4. Dilute Your Drinks

If you can’t resist the urge and have to drink juice or a sugary beverage, water it down a bit by adding water to your drink! Try going for a half water, half juice ratio so you can still taste the sweetness but can also have the dose of water that your body needs.

5. Track Your Water Intake

If you have a hard time drinking water, try using an app to remind you when to drink your recommended cups of H2O!

Egg Muffins w/Bacon For Breakfast On The Go!

The mornings can be so hectic that we don’t have time to eat a good, healthy breakfast and we end up grabbing a fast breakfast that may be full of carbs, sugar, salt, or preservatives!

Here is a quick and very easy recipe for a healthy, on the go breakfast option!

Ingredients:

-6 eggs

-3 pieces of bacon (crumbled)

-Seasonings: sea salt, ground black pepper, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, or any other seasonings you’d like to use

-Chopped green peppers, red peppers, red onions, mushrooms, and green onions. Feel free to add any other veggies you’d like to add

-Shredded cheese; I used mozzarella

Directions:

-Crack 6 eggs in a bowl, add seasonings, and scramble together.

-Line a muffin pan with paper muffin cups and spray pam in each cup.

-Add chopped vegetables and crumbled bacon to each muffin cup.

-Pour the scrambled egg mixture slowly into each muffin cup until all the egg mixture has been used.

-Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Set oven to 400 degrees and let bake for 25-30 minutes.

-Check the middle with a toothpick and if it’s still a little gooey in the middle, it needs more time. When the center is set and the muffins are puffy, they are done cooking. Once they’re done cooking they are ready to eat!

You can eat these egg muffins right away with salsa or by itself. Or you can store them in a covered container in the fridge for about 1 week. To eat, just reheat in the microwave for 30-45 seconds and enjoy!

Make these egg muffins and eat on the go for a healthy breakfast packed with veggies and protein to stay full all morning!
