Turn your wound
Turn your wound
“Wisdom will multiply
your days and add years to your life”
“Wisdom is the reward
you get for a lifetime of listening
when you would rather have talked”
“Walk with wise people and become wise;
befriend fools and get in trouble”
Be careful who you surround yourself with. Make sure they are good influences that motivate you to want to do better.
Avoid those (sometimes close friends and family) who speak negatively about the goals you are trying to achieve.
Those who are just as excited about what you plan to do are the ones that need to be in your life! ✨
“It takes wisdom to build a house, and
understanding to set it on a firm foundation;
It takes knowledge to furnish its rooms with fine furniture and beautiful draperies.”
Proverbs 24: 3-4 The Message Bible
We must first go through difficult and sometimes puzzling situations to learn and become knowledgeable to have the ability to build our “house”.
Our “house” could be a job that we’ve always hoped for,
a business deal that we’ve been waiting for,
a travel journey that we’ve always wanted to take,
a hobby that we’ve been wanting to pursue,
an increase in our finances, etc…
With lessons learned from those difficult situations, we’ll be able to build our “home” that we’ve always dreamed of! =)
“It is better to be wise than strong;
intelligence outranks muscle any day”
Proverbs 24:5 The Message Version
“But anyone who seeks wisdom should ask God, whose very nature is to give to everyone without second thought, without keeping score.
Wisdom will certainly be given to those who ask. Whoever asks shouldn’t hesitate. They should ask in faith, without doubting.”
James 1:5-6 Common English Bible Version
