When Will They Realize?

Everybody sees him and knows him. Always kind, always sweet, always loving.

Sometimes he may be a bit much to handle, but he’s quiet most of the time… I wonder, do they ever question his silence?

What they don’t know is that he’s pained from the tone they use when he’s just being himself.

Despite his tranquility, what they don’t know is that there is so much cacophony consuming his mind, consuming his thoughts.

What they don’t know is that he needs more compassion, he needs them to be patient.

Will they ever open their eyes? Will they realize that their actions are doing more harm than good?

Daily Prompt – Cacophony

What Would You Do?

If you had to teach something,

what would you teach?

I would teach children to remember how important they are no matter what may happen or no matter what anyone has to say. I would teach them that they should value themselves as being important.

A child changes once they get small doses of the real world realizing that things aren’t as perfect as they were taught.

What would you teach?🤔 Comment below! ⬇️

Moving Calmly

He relaxed in shorts and a tank top enjoying the weather.

The sun shining brightly and reflecting off the ocean’s waves.

He unfurled the sail as it started to become windy.

Moving calmly along the waters, while sipping on a nice cold one.

He then began reading and lost himself in his favorite novel.

5 Healthiest Whole Grains You Should Be Eating

1. Whole wheat

When buying bread and pasta products, make sure the label says “100% whole wheat”. Terms like “multigrain” and “wheat” don’t always cut it. Look at the ingredients and make sure the whole grain is at or near the top of the list. Each serving should contain at least 2 or 3 grams of fiber.

2. Whole Oats

Oats are an antioxidant that protects the heart. Oats in the ingredients list mean the product is made from whole oats. When buying instant oatmeal, try to avoid those that contain high fructose corn syrup.

3. Brown Rice

When choosing white rice around 75% of its nutrients (including mostly all antioxidants, magnesium, phosphorus, and B vitamins) are left on the milling-room floor. However brown rice comes with all those things that white rice is missing. Brown rice comes in variety like basmati, jasmine, red, and black rice. Technically a grass, wild rice is also considered a whole grain and is rich in B vitamins such as niacin and folate.

4. Quinoa

Although quinoa is technically a seed and not a grain, this ancient South American power food is packed with more protein than any other grain and contains omega-3 fatty acids.

5. Corn

Corn can be super healthy when it’s whole. It’s a good source of B vitamins, magnesium, and phosphorus. Whole corn is also thought to increase healthy gut flora, which can fight diabetes, heart disease, and chronic inflammation. Yellow corn is also high in antioxidants. Buying organic corn is important, as about 40% of the corn grown in the United States is genetically modified (GMO) to withstand high doses of pesticides.

I Won’t Be Able To Relax!

I am a person who likes things organized and in order.

When things are willy-nilly, I get a little anxiety because things aren’t in their rightful place!

For instance, if there is a table that has items randomly spread out, I have to put these things in order or I won’t be able to relax! LOL

I also like things to be left the way that they were after someone has used it.

For instance, if I rip a piece of a paper towel  from the roll, and that small piece of paper towel still remains after tearing it, I will freak out! So I have to rip that annoying small piece off so that I’ll be even again. LOL

Does it drive you crazy when things arent organized or in order?

My Busy Saturday!

This is a super busy Saturday for me and I need to make sure that things are organized so I won’t forget anything!

I work with an event planner and I was supposed to help with an event this morning but that was cancelled.

I also give driving lessons to my friend on Saturdays depending on my schedule. Since that event was cancelled, I was able to do the driving lesson with her. She was super happy because it’s been a while since we’ve had a lesson due to my busy schedule!

Right now I’m on my way to Pennsylvania, about 2 hours away from NYC. My uncle (in-law) is having BBQ at his home so that’s going to be a lot of fun with games, food, drinks, and fun! It’s always a good time when I spend time with my family!

My cousin (in-law) is having her birthday celebration at a nightclub back in NYC so after the BBQ, hubby and I are heading back home to get ready for that outing!

For the event, we’re supposed to wear all white and I’m one of those people who don’t own a lot of white clothing lol. I hate wearing white because I get so paranoid about getting it dirty! You should’ve seen me yesterday! I was literally searching all over to find an all white outfit and didn’t really have that much luck!

I did find a white bodysuit so I’ll probably pair it with something that’s not white LOL! So we’ll see what happens!

What are your plans for the weekend? Are you as busy as me?! LOL

They were amazed by all the sites, the people, and the culture there!

The couple cheerfully ambled across the the bridge, enjoying the views of the water!

They tried a variety of foods such as bone marrow on toast, chorizo rolls, Cronouts, and more!

Because they were fascinated with their experience so far, they decided to extend their stay from 5 days to a whole month!
